As Chairman of the Board of Directors, Gedaliah Weinberger is a guiding force of PCS. He holds a BS from Brooklyn College in mathematics and an MS from the Courant Institute at New York University and has Rabbinical Ordination from Yeshiva Torah Vodaas. Mr. Weinberger was a founder of American Healthware Systems, a developer of software for the healthcare industry. The company grew significantly under his guidance and merged with Siemens Corp. Currently sitting on several boards of directors, including the boards of Yeshiva Torah Vodaath and Beth Medrash Govoha of Lakewood, he is also the Chairman of the Board Emeritus of Agudath Israel of America, the Chairman of the Daf Yomi Commission and the Chairman of the Board of New York Community Hospital of Brooklyn.
Rabbi Shmuel Lefkowitz has decades of experience in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. Since 1977, Rabbi Lefkowitz has been an Officer at Agudath Israel of America, involved in affordable housing, funding, and legislation for nonpublic schools, legislation mandating insurance coverage for infertility diagnosis and treatment, job training, and placement. He is also one of the founders and serves as president of Chayim Aruchim. In 2003, he was appointed president of NJ HAND, INC. which developed affordable housing units for low and moderate-income families in Lakewood, NJ. Rabbi Lefkowitz has Rabbinical ordination from Mirrer Yeshiva, holds a Master's degree of Art in Psychology from the New School for Social Research, and a Master in Social Work from Wurzweiller School for Social Work. Rabbi Lefkowitz served as a Board Member of Maimonides Medical Center and was Chairman of the Board of the Metropolitan Jewish Health System.
Rabbi Yossi Feldman studied at Yeshiva Torah Vodaas and Bais Hatalmud in Eretz Yisroel. Inspired by Rabbi Moshe Sherer and his father Rabbi Yitzchok Feldman, Rabbi Feldman has always been sensitive to the needs of the klal, volunteering in various capacities. In 1987, he established Professional Career Services because many Jewish families were feeling the impact of the economic recession. Through his klal work for PCS, Rabbi Feldman had the opportunity to consult with gedolim including Rav Shach, Rav Elyashiv and Rav Chaim Epstein. Through Rabbi Feldman’s efforts, Professional Career Services has expanded to two locations and assisted tens of thousands of people in the past three decades
Daniel Soloff has 13 years of experience in education and holds a Master's degree in Talmudic Studies from Beth Medrash Govoha as well as a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Adelphi University. He was one of PCS’s founders who spearheaded its 1997 establishment and became its National Director in 2002. Daniel’s mission is grounded in upgrading job placement services and career training programs to better serve the growing community. Accommodating the many trailblazing initiatives he directed, the organization’s staff has expanded 4x times its original size.
Aviva Barrish joined PCS in 2017, first as the Director of Placements for the School of Evolving Technologies and then as the Director of Job Development. Aviva has two decades of experience in education, as well as 17 years of experience in human services. Aviva holds degrees from Adelphi University and Touro College in human services, as well as a degree in education from Beth Jacob Teacher's Seminary of America. Over the years, Aviva has served as the presidenent of various women’s leagues and as the public relations and project
coordinator for several organizations.
Following a successful career as a medical recruiter, Yoel Tolwinski has been our Director of Job Placement since 2003. Yoel actively keeps abreast of the ever-changing job market and works closely with both candidates and businesses. He has guided many – from the earliest stages of career exploration to high-level positions and professions – and has placed over hundreds individuals in diverse positions. He works with large corporations, mid-size, small businesses, and start-up ventures both farther afield. Yoel brings years of placement and counseling experience to the job, striving to provide for the needs of employers, entry-level applicants, and experienced professionals.
Faigy Ort has been working at PCS since 2020. With a variety of previous office and real estate experiences, she is part of PCS’s non-profit mission. Advocating for anyone seeking a new job opportunity, she dedicates herself to helping employers and employees alike.
Faigy is a people person that zones into each individual’s specific strengths, enabling her to accurately match a candidate to an employer’s needs. She has successfully placed over 150 candidates.
Tzvi Pirutinsky is the Associate Professor of Clinical Social Work at Touro College, a Staff Psychologist at CHEMED, Lakewood, NJ, and the career counselor for Professional Career Services. His clinical experience includes adult and child psychotherapy, career counseling and assessment, psychological testing, and risk assessments.
Deena Nahari, ACC is a noted Associated Certified Coach with over ten years of experience working with teens and adults. Deena is also an acclaimed high school teacher, and lecturer, and career counselor at Professional Career Services.
Leah Stromer supports students and new graduates of FDU’s Master of Science in Accounting program in their search for internships and permanent positions. She is a graduate of Yeshiva University and a CPA with experience in public accounting – including seven years at KPMG, and eight years in higher education administration. Highly qualified and well-suited for this challenging role, she counsels the students and recent alumni in regard to career paths, resumes, networking, and interview preparation. Leah’s dedication to the students and their success in the job market, as well as her resourceful networking, is what impresses peers and students and encourages many in the process. Moreover, her knowledge and professionalism command respect from the accounting firms and businesses to which she has connected candidates.
As Accounting Placement Coordinator, Rus Zucker is responsible for assisting graduates of the accounting course to find internships and paid positions upon graduation. A graduate of Adelphi University with a degree in Business Management and Communication, Rus is well qualified for the crucial role she plays. It is with her guidance that students create resumes, apply to jobs, work on their interview skills, and ultimately embark on a successful career.
Since 2009, After seven years at PCS, Rus’s commitment to guiding newly minted accountants on the path toward growth-oriented employment is well-known, while her referrals of candidates are respected by accounting firms of all sizes.
Zeldy Waxman brings her leadership qualifications, creativity, and warm personality to PCS. She holds a degree in education and was a successful teacher for several years. Mrs. Waxman has spearheaded numerous events and has volunteered her expertise for various community initiatives. With over a decade of office management experience, she utilizes her talents, attention to detail, and pleasant demeanor as the office manager and project coordinator at PCS.
Sarah Massry leads with notable expertise as Director of Marketing and the Program Coordinator of the Software and Web Development Course. Sarah holds a Master of Science in Education from Daemen College and has a decade of experience in education. She is a talented writer, a regular contributor to several international publications, and the author of five popular books.
Course Initiator and Coordinator Raizy Perl, has been with PCS for over twelve years. Her expertise and innovation make her an excellent candidate to manage our many specialized courses. Using her unique skill set, Raizy directs the marketing, staff recruitment, enrollment, and core curriculum issues of our highly popular courses. Thanks to Raizy’s selfless dedication, PCS has been able to expand its career course options with tremendous benefit to the Lakewood Community. Some of the courses which Raizy manages include Business Enrichment, Desktop and Network Support, Real Estate Investing, Property Management, Fundraising, Event Planning, and Microsoft Office.
Sara Lefkowitz brings her creative and detail-oriented abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and patient and hardworking nature to PCS. With past experience in management roles in the travel and fashion industries, she is passionate about helping others with their career and parnassah goals.

<p>Yocheved Kushner has been the Director of Job Placement for PCS's Monsey branch since 2013. As a certified Life Coach, business owner, and teacher for over 25 years, Yocheved uses her experience to help others. In a joint effort with local organizations Kupath Ezrah of Rockland and Community Outreach Center, Yocheved has organized several Job Fairs and Career Events to benefit local job seekers and participating companies seeking to hire qualified employees, as well as young men and women needing guidance in career choices.</p><p>In this capacity Yocheved has also formed the Monsey Jobs Network (MJN), a powerful group of local, well networked volunteers that regularly assist with facilitating job placement and coaching for job seekers.</p>

Raizy brings her unique skills and compassion to PCS. As a real social person, Raizy enjoys connecting with all types of people. Working as Director of Job Development at PCS gives her the opportunity to connect and assist job seekers as well as employers.
During her first year at PCS, Raizy has been involved in many placements. She is passionate about helping others and tries her best to assist each person that comes to PCS.
